Color Her B.A.D is a non-profit organization focused on mental health awareness for women and educating the masses on the effects of isms.
As a society, we often celebrate women who have achieved great success in their business, careers, or accumulated wealth. However, there is another woman not acknowledged enough for conquering the battle of mental health on a daily basis. It’s imperative we shed light on women using adversity to be a beacon of light for others. What about the women who’ve mastered self love and became the love of their own life, their own best friend. The women who’ve mastered emotional intelligence and developed keen self awareness. The women fighting internal battles, struggling to get out of bed every morning, yet still showing up for family and friends. The women advocating for ism’s whether colorism, texturism, sexism, tokenism, or sizeism.
Many women suffer in silence , often leaving unhealed wounds or a lifetime scar. Color HER BAD celebrates women using their adversities to empower, inspire, mentor and educate other women.
COLOR - Color is powerful and influential. The universe and world is filled with color. Color has the power to shift emotion, represent personality and aura. When we color ourselves , we are defining our character and essence.
HER - Who is HER ? It’s the healed version of you, that takes the world by storm. It’s a woman finding her power, purpose and light within by traveling through the valley of her darkest shadows.
B.A.D - The definition varies for every woman. It’s an acronym to define your character after you’ve conquered the war within.
We define our B.A.D as BOLD, ASPIRING, DIVINE.
What's the character of your B.A.D ?
